“There are three things we cry for in life:  things that are lost, things that are found, and things that are magnificent.” - Coupland

Blommetjies, bikes and biodiversity – the story of how a bicycle helped us save the only known population of the Critically Endangered Ixia leipoldtii from extinction. It seems as if we have a knack for choosing the near impossible as passion projects… the harder the challenge, the bigger our interest. Our story of the rediscovery of the lost population of Ixia leipoldtii, the Chameleon Cornflower, that was last seen in 1996 starts off with the loss of a location.
