Blommetjies, bikes and biodiversity – the story of how a bicycle helped us save the only known population of the Critically Endangered Ixia leipoldtii from extinction. Our story of the rediscovery of the lost population of Ixia leipoldtii, the Chameleon Cornflower, that was last seen in 1996 starts off with the loss of a location.
